Concordia Thunder blank the visiting Voyageurs

EDMONTON, AB – Concordia brought the thunder in tonight's game! The first period left both goalies riddled with shots, but #35 Tanner McCorriston for Concordia was a brick wall. Your Concordia Thunder managed to find a few holes in the opposing goalie dropping 3 quick goals to open up the scoring. The Benko brothers were on fire, contributing 5 combined points going into the second.

The second period ended with an after the horn penalty on Concordia, fortunately, they were able to kill off the penalty, even though the pressing Voyageurs had a ton of shot attempts. With just over 6 minutes left in the second Chance Thomas finished a beautiful passing play by burying his first in the game, giving your Thunder a lead of 4.

No goals were scored in the 3rd period, ending the game 4-0 for your Concordia Thunder!
