EDMONTON, AB - #01 Megan Koch recorded a game high 23 points and 16 digs as the GPRC Wolves defeated the Thunder in tight five set battle (23-25, 25-18, 21-25, 25-23, 15-9) on Saturday afternoon at Concordia University of Edmonton.
#15 Sarah Sholter added a game high 54 assist while on defence #12 McKenna Wolstenholme had 15 digs to help lead the Wolves to victory.
The Thunder offense was led by #04 Julia heupel (12 kills) and #07 Riley Rizzoli (39 assist) while on defense #08 Shae McDonald had a game high of 16 digs.
The players of the game were #03 Kayla Whiteman Kyte (CUE) and #01 Megan Koch (GPRC). The Wolves will head home with a 6-10 record and the Thunder drop to 2-16 on the season.
