EDMONTON, AB - On Friday night the Thunder hosted the #2 ACAC north ranked Keyano Huskies where #12 Sarah MacDonald had a game high 22 points to lead the Hiskies to a 66-60 victory at Concordia University of Edmonton. Additional offensive support from #23 Moiyan Toure (12 points) and #05 Georgia Sherstan (10 points) helped the Huskies maintain the lead in the 2nd half.
The Thunder offense was led by #11 Morgan Dool (17 points) and #09 Ann Ulmer (13 points) while on defense #08 Sofia Lucadello had a team high of 9 rebounds.
The ACAC players of the game were #11 Morgan Dool (CUE) and #12 Sarah MacDonald (KC).
Both teams now sit at a record of 13-6 and are tied for the top spot in the ACAC north division. To two teams will play each other Saturday afternoon (1:00PM) at Concordia University of Edmonton.
